(1) This Order may be cited as the Amusements with Prizes (Variation of Monetary Limits) (Scotland) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 27th January 1997.
(2) This Order shall extend to Scotland only.

In section 16(3) of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976 (conditions on which the provision of amusements is permitted at certain commercial entertainments) paragraph (c) shall have effect as if, for the sum of 10p specified in that paragraph, there were substituted the sum of £5.

In article 2 of the Amusements with Prizes (Variation of Monetary Limits) (Scotland) Order 1984–
(a) for the words “Paragraphs (a) and (c)” there shall be substituted the words “Paragraph (a)”;
(b) in paragraph (a) the words “(a) in paragraph (a),” shall be omitted; and
(c) paragraph (c) shall be omitted.
