This Order may be cited as the Environment Act 1995 (Isles of Scilly) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 1st May 1996.

(1) The Environment Agency shall carry out in the Isles of Scilly the functions falling to be carried out in relation to other parts of England and Wales by that Agency by virtue of section 2(1)(d), (e), (f), (g) and (h) and (2) of the Environment Act 1995 (transfer of functions to the Agency), with the exception of the functions specified in section 2(2)(b) and (e) of that Act.
(2) Chapters I and III of Part I, sections 108 to 115 and 119 to 125, of the Environment Act 1995 shall apply in relation to the Isles of Scilly in so far as they relate to the functions conferred on the Environment Agency by virtue of paragraph (1) above.
3 
Sections 98 and 99 of the Environment Act 1995 (grants for purposes conducive to conservation etc) shall apply in relation to the Isles of Scilly.
