This Order may be cited as the Control of Traffic (Belfast) Order (Northern Ireland) 1996 and shall come into operation on 13th January 1997.

Subject to Article 3, a person shall not cause or permit a vehicle travelling in a north-easterly direction along the link road between Newtownbreda Road, Belfast, and Upper Knockbreda Road, to make a right-hand turn into the southbound carriageway of Saintfield Road.
3 
Article 2 shall not apply to—
(a) vehicles being used for fire brigade, ambulance, police or military purposes; or
(b) a vehicle, the driver of which is acting upon the direction or with the permission of a constable in uniform or of a traffic warden.
