This Order may be cited as the Control of Traffic (Castledawson) Order (Northern Ireland) 1996 and shall come into operation on 20th January 1997.

Subject to Article 3, a person shall not cause or permit a vehicle travelling in a south-easterly direction along Old Magherafelt Road, Unclassified No. 134, Castledawson, upon reaching its north-eastern junction with Castledawson Road, Route A31, to make a right-hand turn into Castledawson Road.
3 
Article 2 shall not apply to—
(a) vehicles being used in an emergency by a medical practitioner or for fire brigade, ambulance, police or military purposes; or
(b) a vehicle, the driver of which is acting upon the direction or with the permission of a constable in uniform or of a traffic warden.
