(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Plant Variety Rights Office (Extension of Functions) Regulations 1995 and shall come into force on 1st November 1995.
(2) In these Regulations —
 “Community Office”means the Community Plant Variety Office established by Council Regulation (EC) No. 2100/94;
 “National Office”means the Plant Variety Rights Office established by section 11 of the Plant Varieties and Seeds Act 1964.

The National Office shall have power to carry out such functions as may be entrusted to it by the Community Office in accordance with Articles 30(4) and 55(1) of Council Regulation (EC) No. 2100/94.
