(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social Fund Cold Weather Payments (General) Amendment Regulations 1995 and shall come into force on 1st November 1995.
(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations” means the Social Fund Cold Weather Payments (General) Regulations 1988.

In regulation 3 of the principal Regulations (prescribed amount) for the amount “£7” there shall be substituted the amount “£8.50”.

In Schedule 1 to the principal Regulations (Post Office postcode areas assigned to designated National Climatological Message Stations)
(a) entries 25 (Finningley), 42 (Mount Batten), 52 (Trawsfynydd), 56 (Watnall) and 62 (Wyton) shall be omitted;
(b) for entries 6, 14, 21, 33, 45, 46, 47, 49, 50, 54 and 55 there shall be respectively substituted the entries in the Schedule to these Regulations;
(c) the new entry 11A (Capel Curig) specified in the Schedule to these Regulations, shall be inserted after entry 11 (Brize Norton);
(d) the new entry 61A (Wittering) specified in the Schedule to these Regulations, shall be inserted after entry 61 (Wilsden).
