These Regulations, which may be cited as the Medicines (Pharmacies) (Applications for Registration and Fees) Amendment Regulations 1994, shall come into force on 1st January 1995.

In regulation 3 (fees) of the Medicines (Pharmacies) (Applications for Registration and Fees) Regulations 1973,
(a) in paragraph (1) (fee for registration of premises), for “£119” there is substituted “£121” and for “£63” (fee where premises are in Northern Ireland) there is substituted “£64”,
(b) in paragraph (2) (retention fee), for “£77” there is substituted “£78” and for “£58” (fee where premises are in Northern Ireland) there is substituted “£59”,
(c) in paragraph (3) (additional sum by way of penalty), for “£246” there is substituted “£250” and for “£181” (sum where premises are in Northern Ireland) there is substituted “£184”.

The Medicines (Pharmacies) (Applications for Registration and Fees) Amend– ment Regulations 1993 are hereby revoked.
