(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Competitions and Trials) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 10th November 1994.
(2) These Regulations shall extend to Scotland only.

The Motor Vehicles (Competitions and Trials) (Scotland) Regulations 1976() shall be amended as follows:–
(a) In Schedule 2 (standard conditions)–
(i) in standard condition 14 (b)(i) for “50” there shall be substituted “60”;and
(ii) for standard condition 14(b)(iii) there shall be substituted the following:–“
(iii) in the case of a vehicle constructed solely for the carriage of passengers and their effects, being a motor car adapted to carry not more than seven passengers exclusive of the driver, which is towing a caravan, 50 miles per hour insofar as the route consists of a motorway and 25 miles per hour insofar as the route consists of other roads.”.
(b) In Schedule 3 (specified events)–in the column headed “Title of Event”, there shall be inserted between “British Caravan Road Rally” and “International Rally of Great Britain”, the words “Classic Run” and opposite thereto in the column headed “Promoter”, there shall be inserted the words “RAC Motor Sports Association Ltd”.
