(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Assisted Places) (Amendment) Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 26th August 1994.
(2) These Regulations shall apply in relation to a school year beginning on or after the date mentioned in paragraph (1).
(3) In these Regulations, a reference to the principal Regulations is a reference to the Education (Assisted Places) Regulations 1989.

In paragraphs (3) and (4) of regulation 11 of the principal Regulations, for the sum “£1,125” there shall be substituted the sum “£1,140” in each place where it appears.

(1) In paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations (scales of remission), for the sum “£9,225” there shall be substituted the sum “£9,352”.
(2) For the Table in paragraph 2 of that Schedule there shall be substituted the following Table–“

That part (if any) which exceeds £18,163 33% 24.75% 19.25%”
