These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Light Dues) (Amendment) Regulations 1993 and shall come into force on 1st April 1993.

The Merchant Shipping (Light Dues) Regulations 1990 shall be amended in the Schedule thereto as follows—
(a) in paragraph 1(1) of Part I (Scale of Payments)—
 for “£60” substitute “£62”
 for “41.5 pence” (in both places) substitute “43 pence”;
 for “83 pence” substitute “86 pence”;
(b) in paragraph 2 of Part I—
 Tugs and registered fishing vessels
(i) in sub-paragraph (1)(a), for “£205” and “£21” substitute “£212”and “£22” respectively;
(ii) in sub-paragraph (1)(b), for “£115” and “£12” substitute “£119”and “£12.50” respectively;
(iii) in sub-paragraphs (2) and (3), amend the minimum payments from “£60” to “£62” in each case.
 Pleasure Craft
(iv) in sub-paragraph (4), for “£78” substitute “£81”; and for “£26”substitute “£27”;
(v) in sub-paragraph (5), for “£26” substitute “£27”.
