(1) This Order may be cited as the Central Manchester National Health Service Trust (Change of Name) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 26th November 1993.
(2) In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires—
 “the 1990 Order” means the Manchester Central Hospitals and Community Care National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1990 ;
 “the 1993 Order” means the Manchester Central Hospitals and Community Care National Health Service Trust (Change of Name) Order 1993 ;
 “the trust” means the National Health Service Trust established by the 1990 Order.

The trust shall be called the Central Manchester Healthcare National Health Service Trust instead of the Central Manchester National Health Service Trust.

The change of name effected by this Order shall not—
(a) affect any right or obligation of any person; or
(b) be taken as invalidating any instrument (whether made before, on or after the day on which this Order comes into force) in which the trust is referred to as the Central Manchester National Health Service Trust;and all references in documents and instruments to the trust as the Manchester Central Hospitals and Community Care National Health Service Trust or the Central Manchester National Health Service Trust shall be construed as references to the Central Manchester Healthcare National Health Service Trust.

(1) In—
(a) the definition of “the trust” in article 1(2) of the 1990 Order; and
(b) article 2 of the 1990 Order,
after the words “Central Manchester” there shall be inserted the word “Healthcare”.
(2) In article 3 of the 1993 Order the words from “and all documents” to the end of the article shall be omitted.
