(1) This Order may be cited as the Restrictive Trade Practices (Standards and Arrangements) (Services) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 1st November 1993.
(2) In this Order–
 “the 1976 Act” means the Restrictive Trade Practices Act 1976;
 “arrangement” means, in respect of making available, supplying or obtaining any designated services within the meaning of the 1976 Act, an arrangement as to the provision of information or advice to persons to or by whom designated services are supplied or agreed to be supplied;
 “standards” means, in respect of making available, supplying or obtaining any designated services within the meaning of the 1976 Act, standards of performance in the provision of the services or standards of dimension, design, quality or performance in respect of goods used in providing them.

(1) The standards specified in Part I of the Schedule to this Order, being standards adopted by Electricity Association Services Limited on 8th October 1993, are hereby approved for the purposes of section 18(5) of the 1976 Act.
(2) The arrangement specified in Part II of the Schedule to this Order, being an arrangement adopted by Electricity Association Services Limited on 8th October 1993, is hereby approved for the purposes of section 18(5) of the 1976 Act.
