This Order may be cited as the Immigration (Variation of Leave) (Amendment) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 26th July 1993.

In the Immigration (Variation of Leave) Order 1976—
(a) after paragraph 2(c) of article 3 there shall be inserted—“
(d) in a case in which the duration of a person’s limited leave to enter or remain has been curtailed by the Secretary of State under section 7(1) of the Asylum and Immigration Appeals Act 1993”;
 and
(b) after article 3 there shall be inserted—“

Where—
(a) the duration of a person’s limited leave to enter or remain in the UK has been extended by the operation of article 3(1); and
(b) the duration of that leave has been curtailed by the Secretary of State under section 7(1) of the Asylum and Immigration Appeals Act 1993,the extension shall not have effect beyond the date to which the leave is curtailed”.
