(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Travelling Expenses and Remission of Charges) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 6th April 1992.
(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations” means the National Health Service (Travelling Expenses and Remission of Charges) (Scotland) Regulations 1988.

In regulation 8 (repayment) of the principal Regulations in paragraph (2) for the words “one month” there are substituted the words “three months”.

(1) The amendment made by regulation 2 of these Regulations applies only in relation to a claim for repayment made under regulation 8(2) of the principal Regulations in respect of the payment, on or after 6th April 1992, of a relevant charge or relevant travelling expenses, as the case may be.
(2) In paragraph (1) above the expressions “relevant charge” and “relevant travelling expenses” shall have the same meaning as in the principal Regulations.
