(1) This Order may be cited as the Ashford Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Change of Name) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 21st December 1992.
(2) In this Order unless the context otherwise requires—
 “the Order” means the Ashford Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1991; and
 “the trust” means the National Health Service trust established by the Order.

(1) The trust shall be called the Ashford Hospital National Health Service Trust instead of the Ashford Hospitals National Health Service Trust and accordingly in article 1 of the Order in the definition of “the trust” and in article 2 of the Order for the word “Hospitals” there shall be substituted the word “Hospital”.
(2) In article 3(2) of the Order the words “and associated hospitals” shall be omitted.

The change of name under this Order shall not—
(a) affect any right or obligation of any person;
(b) be taken as invalidating any instrument (whether made before, on or after the day on which this Order comes into force) which refers to the trust by its previous name;and all documents and instruments which refer to the trust under its previous name shall be construed as referring to it under its new name.
