These Regulations may be cited as the Police Cadets (Amendment) Regulations 1992.

These Regulations shall come into force on 30th March 1992 and shall have effect for the purposes of regulation 3(a) and (b) as from 1st July 1991.

The Police Cadets Regulations 1979 shall be amended as follows:
(a) in regulation 13 for the words “in Schedule 2 hereto” there shall be substituted the words—“
(a) in respect of the period beginning with 1st July 1991 and ending with 31st August 1991, in Part I of the Table in Schedule 2 hereto, and
(b) in respect of the period thereafter, in Part II of the said Table”;
(b) for the Table in Schedule 2 (scales of pay) there shall be substituted the following Table—“

Age London Provinces
Part I—Pay from 1st July 1991 to 31st August 1991
Under 17 years £4,809 a year £4,002 a year
17 years £5,052 a year £4,245 a year
18 years or over £5,532 a year £4,725 a year
Part II—Pay from 1st September 1991
Under 17 years £5,040 a year £4,233 a year
17 years £5,298 a year £4,491 a year
18 years or over £5,805 a year £4,998 a year.”
(c) in paragraph 2 of Schedule 3 (charge for board and lodging) there shall be substituted for the words “£603” the words “£639” and for the words “£558” the words “£591”.
