These Regulations may be cited as the Building (Amendment of Prescribed Fees) Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 1st October 1992.

(1) The Building (Prescribed Fees etc.) Regulations 1985 are amended in accordance with the following paragraphs of this regulation.
(2) In Schedule 1 (small domestic buildings) there shall be substituted—
(a) for “£95” in both paragraphs 2 and 5, “£104”, and
(b) for Tables 1 and 2, the following Tables—“

(3) In Schedule 2 (small garages, carports and certain alterations and extensions) there shall be substituted—
(a) in paragraph 1, for “£15”, “£45” and “£60” respectively, “£16”, “£50” and “£66”, and
(b) for the Table in paragraph 2, the following Table—“

These Regulations shall not affect the application of the Building (Prescribed Fees etc.) Regulations 1985 in relation to work in respect of which—
(a) a building notice was given or full plans were deposited under regulation 11 of the Building Regulations 1985 or regulation 11 of the Building Regulations 1991; or
(b) an initial notice or a public body’s notice was given under section 47(1) (giving and acceptance of initial notice) or 54(1) (giving, acceptance and effect of public body’s notice) of the Building Act 1984,before 1st October 1992, notwithstanding that on or after that date a notice is or hasbeen given, or plans are or have been deposited, in respect of substantially the same work.

Regulation 2(5)(c) of the Building (Amendment of Prescribed Fees) Regulations 1986, and regulations 3 and 4 of the Building (Amendment of Prescribed Fees) Regulations 1990 are hereby revoked.
