These Regulations may be cited as the Oil and Fibre Plant Seeds (Amendment) Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 5th August 1992.

(1) The Oil and Fibre Plant Seeds Regulations 1985 shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of this regulation.
(2) In Schedule 4 Part IIA paragraph 3 shall be numbered 3.—(1) and there shall be added the following sub-paragraph—“
(2) In soya bean,
(a) the maximum number of sub-samples within a sample of 5,000 seeds minimum per lot subdivided into 5 sub-samples which have been found to be contaminated by Pseudomonas syringae pv. glycinea shall not exceed 4;
(b) the maximum number of seeds contaminated by Diaporthe phaseolorum shall not exceed 15%; and
(c) the percentage by weight of inert matter shall not exceed 0.3%.”
