(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Certification Officer (Amendment of Fees) Regulations 1991 and shall come into force on 1st April 1991.
(2) The following Regulations are hereby revoked—
(a) Regulation 3 of the Certification Officer (Amendment of Fees) Regulations 1988;
(b) Regulations 1 and 2 of the Certification Officer (Amendment of Fees) Regulations 1989;
(c) The Certification Officer (Amendment of Fees) Regulations 1990.

In paragraph (1) of regulation 11 of the Trade Unions and Employers' Associations (Amalgamations, etc.) Regulations 1975(fees to accompany an application for approval of a proposed instrument of amalgamation or transfer) for the words “£290” there shall be substituted the words “£645”.

In paragraph (2) of regulation 11 of the Trade Unions and Employers' Associations (Amalgamations, etc.) Regulations 1975 for the words “£14” there shall be substituted the words “£15” (fee on an application for approval of a change of name).

The fee of £45 is hereby prescribed for the purposes of section 8(4) of the Trade Union and Labour Relations Act 1974 (fee on application by an organisation of workers or of employers to have its name entered in the list of trade unions or employers' associations).

The fee of £305 is hereby prescribed for the purposes of section 8(2) of the Employment Protection Act 1975 (fee on application by a trade union for a certificate of independence).
