(1) These Rules may be cited as the Juvenile Courts (Constitution) (Amendment) Rules 1991 and shall come into force on 14th October 1991.
(2) In these Rules “the principal Rules” means the Juvenile Courts (Constitution) Rules 1954.

In rule 1 of the principal Rules—
(a) in paragraph (2), the words “the number of” and the words “who have not attained the age of sixty-five years” shall be omitted; and
(b) in paragraph (4), the words “and who has not attained the age of sixty-five years” shall be omitted.

In rule 2 of the principal Rules, the words “whether or not he has attained the age of sixty-five years” shall be omitted.

Rule 5 of the principal Rules shall be omitted.
5 
In rule 7 of the principal Rules, the words “, subject to Rule 5 of these Rules,” shall be omitted.
