(1) These Regulations may be cited as the European ParliamentaryElections (Amendment) Regulations 1991.
(2) These Regulations do not extend to Northern Ireland.
(3) These Regulations shall come into force when the Representation ofthe People Act 1990 comes into force in Great Britain (and accordingly whenthe Representation of the People (Amendment) Regulations 1991 and the Representation of the People (Scotland)Amendment Regulations 1991 also come into force).

(1) At the end of paragraph (1) of regulation 5 of the EuropeanParliamentary Elections Regulations 1986() (application of certainprovisions for the purposes of European Parliamentary elections) thereshall be added the following:“
 The entry in that Schedule in respect of section 6 of the Act of 1985is to that provision as amended by section 1 of the Representation ofthe People Act 1990.”.
(2) In the left-hand column of Part I of Schedule 2 to the EuropeanParliamentary Elections Regulations 1986 (application with modificationsof the Representation of the People Regulations 1986) there shall be inserted, after the entry in respect ofregulation 63, the following entry:“
 Regulation 63A (additional requirement for applicant no longerresident at qualifying address)”.
(3) In the left-hand column of Part II of Schedule 2 to the EuropeanParliamentary Elections Regulations 1986 (application with modificationsof the Representation of the People (Scotland) Regulations 1986) there shall be inserted, after the entry in respect ofregulation 61, the following entry:“
 Regulation 61A (additional requirement for applicant no longerresident at qualifying address)”.
