These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Tests) (Amendment) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 2nd April 1990.

The Motor Vehicles (Tests) Regulations 1981 shall be further amended in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations.

In regulation 20(4) for the Table there shall be substituted the following Table–“

TABLE
Column 1 Description of Vehicle Column 2 Normal Fee Column 3 Saturday Fee
Vehicles in Class VI constructed or adapted to carry more than 12 passengers 
() £17.75, if the vehicle is submitted for a further examination within 14 days of the date of the issue of the notice of refusal of a test certificate, or 
(a) £31, in the circumstances described in paragraph (a) of the entry in column 2, or
 
(b) £38.00, in any other case. 
(b) £62.50 in any other case.
Other vehicles in Class VI 
(a) £13.25, if the vehicle is submitted for a further examination within 14 days of the date of the issue of the notice of refusal of a test certificate, or 
(a) £22.25, in the circumstances described in paragraph (a) of the entry in column 2, or
 
(b) £26.50, in any other case. 
(b) £44.50, in any other case.”.

In the regulations specified in column 1 of the Table below for the amounts specified in column 2 of the Table there shall be specified the amounts specified in column 3 of the Table.
