(1) This Order may be cited as the Buckinghamshire (District Boundaries) Order 1990.
(2) This Order shall come into force on 9th March 1990 for any purpose set out in regulation 4(1) (coming into operation of order) of the Local Government Area Changes Regulations 1976.
(3) For all other purposes this Order shall come into force on 1st April 1990.

In this Order–
 “boundary map” means the map prepared by the Department of the Environment, marked “Map of the Buckinghamshire (District Boundaries) Order 1990” and deposited in accordance with regulation 5 of the Local Government Area Changes Regulations 1976;
 “county electoral division” means an electoral division of the county of Buckinghamshire.

(1) The parts of the district of Chiltern and the parish of Penn marked A2, A3, A4 and A5 on the boundary map shall be transferred to–
(a) the district of South Bucks and the Beaconsfield North ward of that district;
(b) the parish of Beaconsfield and the North ward of that parish;
(c) the Beaconsfield county electoral division;
(d) the Burnham petty sessional division.
(2) The part of the district of Chiltern and the parish of Penn marked A1 on the boundary map shall be transferred to–
(a) the district of South Bucks and the Beaconsfield West ward of that district;
(b) the parish of Beaconsfield and the West ward of that parish;
(c) the Beaconsfield county electoral division;
(d) the Burnham petty sessional division.

The parts of the district of South Bucks and the parish of Beaconsfield marked A6, A7 and A8 on the boundary map shall be transferred to–
(a) the district of Chiltern and the Penn ward of that district;
(b) the parish of Penn and the Penn ward of that parish;
(c) the Amersham Town and Penn county electoral division;
(d) the Chiltern petty sessional division.

Any provisions of a local plan made or adopted by a district council which apply immediately before 1st April 1990 to an area transferred by this Order shall continue to have effect in relation to that area as if they were part of such a plan made or adopted by the council of the district to which that area is transferred.
