This Order may be cited as the A41 Trunk Road (Finchley Road, Camden) (Prescribed Routes) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 6th August 1990.

In this Order—
 “central refuge” means the island in the centre of Finchley Road on the southern side of the junction;
 “eastern traffic island” means the easternmost island site of two island sites in Finchley Road on the northern side of the junction;
 “Finchley Road” means the length of the A41 trunk road in the London Borough of Camden known as Finchley Road;
 “the junction” means the junction of Finchley Road with the highway known as Frognal Court and with the unnamed road opposite Frognal Court;
 “the unnamed road” means the road which joins Finchley Road on the western side of the junction; and
 “western traffic island” means the triangular island site in Finchley Road on the western side of the junction.

A person causing a vehicle to keep to the right of the eastern traffic island shall cause that vehicle to turn right into the unnamed road.
4 
Save as provided in article 3 of this Order, no person shall cause or permit a vehicle proceeding in Finchley Road to turn right at the junction.

No persons shall cause or permit a vehicle to turn left at the junction from Finchley Road into the unnamed road other than by keeping to the left of the western traffic island.

No person shall cause or permit a vehicle proceeding in Finchley Road to make a U-turn at the junction so as to proceed in the opposite direction.
7 
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a constable in uniform or of a traffic warden.
