(1) This Order may be cited as the Electricity Act 1989 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1990.
(2) In this Order “the Act” means the Electricity Act 1989.

Section 85 of the Act shall come into force on 1st March 1990.
3 
The following provisions of the Act shall come into force on 31st March 1990 —
(a) the provisions specified in Schedule 1 to this Order;
(b) section 112(4) except insofar as it relates to the provisions specified in Schedule 2 to this Order, and Schedule 18 except for those provisions; and
(c) Schedule 17, except for paragraph 3(b) and the word “and” immediately preceding it.
