(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Oral Snuff (Safety) Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 13th March 1990.
(2) In these Regulations “oral snuff” means goods which consist wholly or mainly of tobacco in fine cut, ground or particulate form or in any combination of those forms and which are for oral use other than smoking.

No person shall supply, offer to supply, agree to supply, expose for supply or possess for supply any oral snuff.
