(1) This Order may be cited as the Lotteries (Variation of Monetary Limits) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 1st September 1989.
(2) This Order shall not extend to Scotland.

In the provisions of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976 specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order (which relate to the matters mentioned in column 2 of that Schedule), for the monetary limits specified in those provisions and set out in column 3 of that Schedule (which limits were substituted by the Orders mentioned in article 3 below) there shall be substituted the monetary limits specified in column 4 of that Schedule.

(1) In the Schedule to the Lotteries (Variation of Monetary Limits) Order 1981, the entry relating to section 11(2) of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976 shall be omitted.
(2) The Lotteries (Variation of Monetary Limits) Order 1985 is hereby revoked.
