(1) This Order may be cited as the Local Government Reorganisation (Property) (West Yorkshire) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 17th May 1988.
(2) In this Order,“local council” in relation to any land means the council of the district in which the land is situated.

Any interest of the West Yorkshire Residuary Body in any land below a highway shall vest in the local council.
3 
The land described in the Schedule, and all rights and liabilities acquired or incurred exclusively in connection with that land, shall vest in the local council.
