These Regulations may be cited as the Crown Prosecution Service (Witnesses' Allowances) (Amendment No.4) Regulations 1987 and shall come into force on 22nd June 1987.

In Schedule 1 to the Crown Prosecution Service (Witnesses' Allowances) Regulations 1986, in Column 3 of the Table, which sets out relevant amounts in relation to allowances payable under those Regulations—
(a) for the sums of £49.20 and £98.40 in the entry for Regulation 4(a) (locum allowance payable to a professional witness who attends to give evidence) there shall be substituted £52.50 and £105.00 respectively; and
(b) for the sums of £33.70, £49.20, £73.90 and £98.40 in the entry for regulation 4(b) (compensatory allowance payable to such witness) there shall be substituted £35.00, £52.50, £78.80 and £105.00 respectively.

The Crown Prosecution Service (Witnesses' Allowances) (Amendment No.2) Regulations are hereby revoked.
