(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Certification Officer (Amendment of Fees) Regulations 1987 and shall come into force on 1st April 1987.
(2) The Certification Officer (Amendment of Fees) Regulations 1986 are hereby revoked.

In Regulation 11 of the Trade Unions and Employers' Associations (Amalgamations, etc.) Regulations 1975 for the words “£123” (fee for registration of an instrument of amalgamation or transfer) there shall be substituted the words “£130”, for the words “£7.75” (fee for approval of a change of name) there shall be substituted the words “£8.00” and for the words “£1.60” (fee for every inspection on the same day of documents kept by the Certification Officer under the 1964 Act relating to one and the same organisation) there shall be substituted the words “£2.00”.

In section 8(4) of the Trade Union and Labour Relations Act 1974 for the words “£25” (fee on application by an organisation of workers or of employers to have its name entered in the list of trade unions or employers' associations, as the case may be) there shall be substituted the words “£26”.

In section 8(2) of the Employment Protection Act 1975 for the words “£150” (fee on application by a trade union for a certificate of independence) there shall be substituted the words “£156”.
