This Order may be cited as the Extradition (Internationally Protected Persons) (Amendment) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 1st January 1988.

The Extradition (Internationally Protected Persons) Order 1979 shall be amended by adding to Schedule 2 (which names the foreign States with which the United Kingdom has extradition treaties in force and which are parties to the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes against Internationally Protected Persons, including Diplomatic Agents, signed at New York on 14th December 1973) the following entry —

The Extradition (Internationally Protected Persons) Order 1979 shall be amended by adding to Part I of Schedule 3 (which names the foreign States with which the United Kingdom has no extradition treaties in force and which are parties to the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes against Internationally Protected Persons, including Diplomatic Agents, signed at New York on 14th December 1973) the following entries —
