This Order may be cited as the A406 Trunk Road (Angel Road, Enfield) (Prescribed Routes) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 1st August 1987.

In this Order:—
 “Angel Road” means that length of the London North Circular Trunk Road (A406) known as Angel Road;
 “central reservation” means that part of Angel Road which separates the two carriageways of Angel Road for the safety and guidance of vehicles using that road;
 “the junction” means the junction of Angel Road, Eley Road and the unnamed road leading to the private means of access to the premises of Wickes Developments Limited;
 “the eastbound right-turn lane” means the traffic lane, being part of the eastbound carriageway of Angel Road, which is bounded on its southeastern side by the central reservation, has a width increasing from zero to 3·5 metres and extends to the junction from a point 55 metres southwest of it; and
 “the westbound right-turn lane” means the traffic lane, being part of the westbound carriageway of Angel Road, which is bounded on its northwestern side by the central reservation, has a width increasing from zero to 3·5 metres and extends to the junction from a point 66 metres northeast of it.

Every person causing any vehicle to proceed in the eastbound right-turn lane shall cause that vehicle to turn right into the unnamed road leading to the private means of access to the premises of Wickes Developments Limited.

Every person causing any vehicle to proceed in the westbound right-turn lane shall cause that vehicle to turn right into Eley Road.
5 
No person causing a vehicle to proceed in the eastbound carriageway of Angel Road, other than in the eastbound right-turn lane, shall cause that vehicle to turn right at the junction.
6 
No person causing a vehicle to proceed in the westbound carriageway of Angel Road, other than in the westbound right-turn lane, shall cause that vehicle to turn right at the junction.
7 
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or of a traffic warden.
