This Order may be cited as the National Heritage Act 1983 (Commencement No. 6) Order 1984.

 “the Act” means the National Heritage Act 1983;
 “the V & A” means the Board of Trustees of the Victoria and Albert Museum; and
 “the Museum Board” means the Board of Trustees of the Science Museum.

The provisions of the Act specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order (which relate to the matters specified in column 2 thereof) shall come into force on the 1st April 1984.
