This Order may be cited as the Civil Aviation Act 1980 (Guernsey) Order 1984 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1984.

In this Order, “the Bailiwick” means the Bailiwick of Guernsey and the territorial waters adjacent thereto.
3 
It is hereby directed that sections 3 and 10 of, and Schedule 1 to, the Civil Aviation Act 1980 shall extend to the Bailiwick with the modifications specified in the Schedule to this Order.

SCHEDULE
Article 3
1 
In section 3(1), the words “(subject to the following provisions of this section and section 5(1) of this Act)” shall be omitted.
2 
After section 3(2), there shall be inserted the following subsection:—“

(2A) Any order made under subsection (2) above before the date of the coming into force of that subsection in the Bailiwick shall (without prejudice to section 10(3) below) extend to the Bailiwick notwithstanding having been made before that date.
”.

Section 3(4), (7) and (8) shall be omitted.

In section 10(1), for the definition of “the Board” there shall be substituted the following definition:—“

 “the Board” means the British Airways Board within the meaning of the Act of 1977;
”.

After section 10(1), there shall be inserted the following subsection:—“

(1A) Any order made before the date of the coming into force of this section in the Bailiwick and appointing a day as the appointed day for the purposes of this Part of this Act shall (without prejudice to subsection (3) below) extend to the Bailiwick notwithstanding having been made before that date.
”.
6 
Section 10(2) shall be omitted.
7 
In Schedule 1, paragraphs 2(1) and (2) and 3 shall be omitted.
