This Order may be cited as the London Cab Order 1982 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1982.

The London Cab Order 1934 shall be amended by omitting the following provisions:—
(a) in paragraph 11 (fees for horse cab licences), sub-paragraph (1)(a) and, in sub-paragraph (2), the words “and the receipt for the payment of the fee as aforesaid”;
(b) in paragraph 12(2) (certificate of Public Carriage Examiner), the words “and the receipt (if any) for the payment of the fee mentioned in paragraph 11”;
(c) in paragraph 13 (refusal of certificate by Public Carriage Examiner) the words “and receipt (if any) for the payment of the fee mentioned in paragraph 11”;
(d) in paragraph 26 (fees for cab drivers' licences), sub-paragraphs (1) and (2);
(e) in Schedule C (form of cab licence), the words from “A receipt for the payment” to “produced to me”.
