These Regulations may be cited as the Jurors' (Coroners' Courts) Allowances (Amendment) Regulations 1977 and shall come into operation on 21st March 1977.

In these Regulations the expression “principal Regulations” means the Jurors' (Coroners' Courts) Allowances Regulations 1975 as amended by the Jurors' (Coroners' Courts) Allowances (Amendment) Regulations 1975.

(1) In Regulation 7(2)(a) of the principal Regulations for the words “£4” there shall be substituted the words “£4.90”.
(2) In Regulation 7(2)(b) of the principal Regulations for the words “£8” there shall be substituted the words “£9.80”.

(1) In paragraph 3(a) of Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations for the words “2·2p”, “2·7p”, “3·2p”, “4·1p” and “4·7p” there shall be substituted the words “2·5p”, “3·1p”, “4·2p”, “5·2p” and “5·4p” respectively.
(2) In paragraph 3(b) of Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations for the words “4·1p”, “7·9p”, “9·4p” and “10·2p” there shall be substituted the words “5·2p”, “9·3p”, “10·8p” and “11·8p” respectively.
