The operation within the Island of Jersey of the Official Secrets Acts, 1911 to 1939, shall be suspended so long as the Official Secrets (Jersey) Law, 1952, continues in force in the said Island, and no longer:
Provided that the suspension of the said Acts in the said Island shall not extend to the holder of an office under Her Majesty who is not appointed to that office by the Government of the said Island.
