(1) Part I of the Coal Mines Act, 1930 (which is limited to expire on the thirty-first day of December, nineteen hundred and thirty-two), shall continue in force until the thirty-first day of December, nineteen hundred and thirty-seven, and no longer unless Parliament otherwise determines; and, accordingly, in section ten of that Act, for the words " nineteen hundred and thirty-two " there shall be substituted the words " nineteen hundred and thirty-seven. "
(2) Section one of the Coal Mines Act, 1931 (which is limited to expire on the seventh day of July, nineteen hundred and thirty-two), shall continue in force until the coming into operation of an Act to enable effect to be given to the draft international convention limiting the hours of work underground in coal mines adopted by the general conference of the International Labour Organisation of the League of Nations on the eighteenth day of June, nineteen hundred and thirty-one; and, accordingly, in the said section one, for the word " Act," where that word first occurs, there shall be substituted the word " section. "

(1) This Act may be cited as the Coal Mines Act, 1932, and the Coal Mines Acts, 1887 to 1931, and this Act may be cited together as the Coal Mines Acts, 1887 to 1932.
(2) This Act shall not extend to Northern Ireland.
